All companies with a registration for either VAT, F-skatt or employers have at least one CFAR number. If you do not have a CFAR number, it is because SCB haven't received your registration from Skatteverket, or because you have not reported your new workplace to SCB.

What is the difference between a workplace and a company?

In SCB:s business register, there are two different types of units - companies and workplaces. An active company always has at least one workplace. Workplace refers to any address, property or group of properties where the company conducts business. If the company conducts business at different addresses, it thus has several workplaces.
