Risk template settings (Sweden)

A risk template decides which risk indicators are checked for a Swedish company, and when each one raises

an alert. You need one to use the Risk Indicator API or risk indicators in the Roaring web application. You find your templates under Settings → Risk templates at app.roaring.io. Each indicator can be switched on or off, and most have a threshold you set yourself. Indicators are updated every day. When we add a new indicator, it appears switched off in your existing templates, marked as new.

This article describes the Swedish indicators.

Who counts as a representative
Several indicators look at the company's representatives: everyone registered in a role for the company, except auditors and liquidators. Board members, deputies, the chair, the managing director, external signatories, partners and other registered roles all count. A person with several roles counts once.

Changes

These indicators count how many times something changed during a period you choose (6 months to 5 years) and raise an alert when there are more changes than you allow. Several changes registered on the same day count as one. Changes caused by an official reclassification, such as the switch to SNI 2025 in December 2025, are not counted.

Changes to base company information
Changes to the company's registered details: name, legal form, status, industry code, number of employees and workplaces, registered, postal and visiting address, telephone and fax, registration for F-tax, VAT and as an employer, and the managing director.

Changes to the board are not included here; they have their own indicator.

Company status changes
Changes of the company's status, for example from active to bankruptcy petition or liquidation. The company's first registered status counts as one change, so a newly registered company has one.

Address changes
Changes to the company's registered or visiting address. The first registered address is not counted.

Changes to industry code
Changes of the company's industry code (SNI). The company's first registered industry code counts as one change, so a newly registered company has one.

Changes to board members
Changes to who the company's representatives are: someone joins or leaves. A change of role alone, for example a board member becoming chair, is not counted. Neither is the company's first registered board.

Registrations

Company tax registration
Raises an alert if the company is not approved for F-tax (F-skatt).

Company VAT registration
Raises an alert if the company is not registered for VAT.

Missing employee contribution registration
Raises an alert if the company is not registered as an employer.

For all three, a company we hold no registration details for is treated as not registered.

Company registration age
Raises an alert if the company was registered within the period you choose (1 month to 5 years), for example if it is less than a year old.

Missing auditor
Raises an alert if a limited company (aktiebolag, AB) has no registered auditor. Other company forms are never flagged. Note that a smaller aktiebolag may legally choose not to have an auditor.

Industry

Risk industries
Raises an alert if the company's current industry code is one of up to 10 codes you list. You can enter a full code or the beginning of one: 47 matches every code starting with 47, 62.01 matches 62.010 and 62.011.

Bankruptcies
Both bankruptcy indicators ask the same question: did any of the company's current representatives represent another company when it went bankrupt?

- A person is connected to a bankruptcy if they were a representative of that company on the day its bankruptcy decision (konkursbeslut) was registered. Someone who left before that day, or joined after, is not connected.

- Bankruptcies from March 2019 onwards are included, and a connection never expires.

- A bankrupt company whose representatives are still registered counts its own bankruptcy.

The two indicators count these connections differently:

Bankrupt companies connected to the board
The number of different bankrupt companies that today's representatives are connected to. A bankrupt company counts once, however many of the representatives were involved in it.

Sum of bankruptcies associated to the board
The number of connections: each representative counts each bankrupt company they are connected to. A bankruptcy that three of today's representatives were involved in counts three times. This number is never lower than Bankrupt companies connected to the board.

Example: Company X has three representatives today. Anna and Bo were both representatives of Alfa AB when it went bankrupt, and Bo was also a representative of Beta AB when it went bankrupt. Cecilia has no bankruptcy connections.

Representative of Company X | Alfa AB (bankrupt) | Beta AB (bankrupt)

|---|---|---|

| Anna | ✓ | |

| Bo | ✓ | ✓ |

| Cecilia | | |

- Bankrupt companies connected to the board = 2: two different companies, Alfa AB and Beta AB.

- Sum of bankruptcies associated to the board = 3: three ticks, Anna–Alfa, Bo–Alfa and Bo–Beta.

The board

Mean age of board members
The average age of the company's current representatives, in whole years, based on their dates of birth. Choose an age range; the indicator raises an alert when the average is outside it. A company without any

Financial indicators

These are based on the company's annual reports. Each one uses the most recent annual report we hold for the company, however old it is. If a report has been corrected, the corrected figures are used.

A company without any annual report (for example a newly started company) raises an alert on Equity ratio percent, Cash liquidity ratio and Turnover, because missing financial information is treated as a risk.

Revenue per employee and Net result are not checked for such a company.

Revenue per employee (kSEK)
The company's total operating income (rörelseintäkter) divided by its number of employees, both from the most recent annual report, in thousands of SEK. Raises an alert when the result is below the amount you set. A report with no employees is treated as having one, so the revenue per employee then equals the total operating income.

Equity ratio percent
The equity ratio (soliditet) from the most recent annual report: equity as a share of total assets, in percent. Raises an alert when it is below the percentage you set.

Cash liquidity ratio
The quick ratio (kassalikviditet) from the most recent annual report: current assets excluding inventory, as a share of current liabilities, in percent. At 100% the company can pay its short-term debts without selling inventory. Raises an alert when it is below the percentage you set.

Turnover
Net sales (nettoomsättning) from the most recent annual report, in millions of SEK (mnkr). Raises an alert when it is below the amount you set. You can use decimals, for example 0.5 for 500,000 SEK.

Net result
The result after financial items (resultat efter finansiella poster). Raises an alert if it was negative in any of the most recent annual reports, as many as you choose. If the company has filed fewer reports than that, all of its reports are checked.

Legal occurrence

The number of legal documents that concern the company itself, or a person who is or was within the last two years a board member or beneficial owner of it. Documents from the current year and the five previous years are counted, each document once. Family-law matters, such as divorce and custody, are not counted. Raises an alert when the number is above the value you set.

PEP representatives (Compliance template only)
The number of the company's current representatives who are on the Nordic list of politically exposed persons (PEP). Raises an alert when the number is above the value you set.
