How do I add users to my account, and what are user roles?

"How to invite users to my Roaring account?" We've made it easy for you to handle this via app.roaring.io.

1. Click on "Users & Groups" from the settings / cogwheel button in the top-right corner of the screen. You instantly get to the "Users". Click on the black Invite User-button to the right.

2. Fill out the required information and then click "Invite". An e-mail will be sent automatically to the person, with instructions on how to get started.

In order to invite the person we require full name, e-mail address, preferred language and the type of access the user should have.

The most common roles are:

- Admin user (a user who can manage the account and users)

- Lookup user (a user with access to our Lookup prodct)

- Monitoring admin (a user with access to our Monitoring product who can manage all the monitorings on the account)

- Monitoring user (a user with access to our Monitoring product who can manage his/her own monitorings)

- Sandbox developer (a user who can access our API platform and our sandbox data)

- Production developer (a user who can access our API platform and real data)

We also recommend to always tick the box requiring the user to use two-factor authentication for extra security.
