Information regarding update of Roaring’s list of Sub-processors

Updated over 2 weeks ago

We would like to inform you of a minor administrative adjustment to our list of sub-processors.

We recently conducted a review of our vendor agreements to ensure our documentation accurately reflects data flows within our systems. This has resulted in three primary adjustments:

  • Migration of chat function: We are migrating our chat service from the current provider to another existing provider. This does not involve a new vendor, but merely an adjustment to the description of how that vendor (Hubspot) processes data (where Roaring acts as the Data Controller). The agreement with the current provider expires in October 2026.

  • Focus on actual Sub-processors: We have clarified that only Amazon Web Services (AWS) acts as a Sub-processor in the legal sense for the services we deliver to you. We have also clarified how AWS processes data. Other support systems, such as HubSpot and Google, have been moved to a separate category as they are used for our own customer administration and communication.

  • Realignment of purposes: We have adjusted the descriptions for certain vendors to better match specific service functions. This does not involve any new types of processing, but is an update to increase transparency.

What does this mean for you?

In practice, there are no changes to the service. The level of security remains the same, all data continues to be processed within the EU/EEA, and no new data is collected. This adjustment ensures our documentation remains clear and legally accurate in accordance with the GDPR.

The updated list is available via our portal. If you have any questions, please contact us at [email protected] or via our chat.

Best regards,

Team Roaring
